Bornean Frog Race 2016

Frog Race in Sarawak Borneo

The Bornean Frog Race 2016 is back, and this time around, it will be held at Lambir Hills National Park in North Sarawak near the resort city of Miri.

This unique nature-related event will also take place on the 30th April 2016 and will also see a hive of activities, talks and contests happening here.

Bornean Frog Race

While most people would be asking the main question - Frog Race? And no, it is not about putting many frogs together and seeing who reaches the finishing line first.

The Bornean Frog Race is similar to the Bird Race, where participants will gather in groups or individuals to head out and see who can spot the most number of frogs during a stipulated time given.

The participant or group with the most number of frogs spotted will be the race winner. Technically, you can imagine a group of people armed with torch lights and cameras exploring the rainforest at night, seeking out the most number of different frog species.
