Sabah Tourism Awards 2013 Winners

Winners for the Sabah Tourism Awards 2013
This years Sabah Tourism Awards 2013 Winners came from all over the state and also from around the world.

Having been introduced since 1997, the prestigious Sabah Tourism Awards was inaugurated to celebrate the industry’s achievements and to honor outstanding individuals and organizations whose contributions have attributed to the growth of the tourism industry in Sabah.

Held every two years, nominees include contributors to the state and national tourism developments in various fields including front liners, agencies, hotels, resorts, businesses, and also the media. The Awards are given to reward excellence, quality and innovation in terms of service and standards.

Malaysia Asia was awarded with the Sabah Best Online Media for 2011 and it was one of the most prestigious awards won by me.

Hopefully for the next Sabah Tourism Awards 2015 and many other awards, we will see a special or new category for Social Media and Digital Media as this is currently the top platforms that have slowly taken over conventional and it is high time that tourism bodies recognize this form of media.
