Hey AT, great to know that, maybe next year I may visit Pangkor? Hear lots of good things there. But just to highlight that Perhentian is more of the 'island' feel.

Never been to Perhentian, but i've enjoyed YTL Pangkor, was there last year, they said YTL Pangkor is in the list of 10 most wonderfull beach.

Hello Anon from Italy, I would but I have not stayed at the other places. I heard that Tuna Bay and Bubu is pretty nice but prices are a little higher on Bubu.

We booked here last minute into the deluxe garden chalets through a travel agent (after waiting weeks for a booking confirmation from Flora Bay). Front desk staff were fine, polite and spoke good English. No waiting to get our rooms, we checked in around 10.30am. The chalets are quiet, rather dark inside (easily fixed by brighter light bulbs) but with hot water, mini fridge, a fan, a/c and 24

my next island visit in malaysia would be Perhentian,but I think I wil go from Kota Bharu, as I pretty miss the ayam percik there
