The RM18 million park took about two years to be constructed and is located on Kuala Lumpur and Selangor border.

What Can You See At 99 Wonderland Park?

This new park offers quite a bit to see and do suitable for adults, families and kids. There is a bird island where several unique birds have been brought in from around the world.

With so many different types of birds, you can expect to see peacocks, parrots, flamingos, ducks, swans and pheasants.

Flamingos are highly popular, and you can expect many photographers to come here to take photos of these beautiful birds.

A special duck lagoon is an open area where ducks roam freely in this part of the park. An ostrich farm is also where they keep live ostriches for visitors to see. I am unsure if there are any ostrich rides at the moment.

There is also a deer yard, where you can find Samba Deer. An exotic animal enclave also lets visitors see some of the more unique and smaller animals like the South American Mara and Marmoset (Miniature monkeys) and Meerkats from South Africa. For now, this is not a petting zoo.

One of the popular places at the park is no other than the Magical Bridge, which spans 158 meters across the lake here.

The attraction of this is the Love Locks area, where lovers lock a padlock on a chain or gate and then throw away the key, symbolically locking their love forever.

Once the sun goes down, you will see LED lights illuminate trees and sections of the park, providing a fantasy and fairyland feel here.

The best way to enjoy the park is to walk around it, and you will come across the many attractions here. Most of them are photo spots, namely to be used for your social media and so on.

Please note that this is a walking park; therefore, you will be doing a lot of walking to see this park, and the best way is to take your time to walk around.

For those who have walking issues, please reconsider. Unless you contact the park about a wheelchair service.

Where is 99 Wonderland Park?

This recreational park is located in Kuala Lumpur and in the area of Selayang. The nearest popular landmark will be Batu Caves.

From the centre of Kuala Lumpur, it will take you about 20-40 minutes to drive one way, depending on traffic.

I recommend you leave before rush hour, which starts at about 5.15 pm, hence it is best to leave Kuala Lumpur city before 5.00 pm. You should take about 22-30 minutes to reach the park if smooth traffic.

If you leave at 6.00 pm, be prepared to get caught in the infamous KL traffic jam heading out of the city area. This can easily take you from 40-60 minutes of traffic time.

Google Maps shows it takes 32 minutes during early rush hour from Kuala Lumpur.

99 Wonderland Park is a unique recreational landmark in Kuala Lumpur owned by JL99 Group, a remarkable Malaysian property developer who believes in giving back to society.

As this is a totally new tourist attraction in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, it is guaranteed that the park will see a lot of visitors over the weekends. If you dislike crowds, it is best to go on a weekday evening.
