W Hotel Kuala Lumpur Review

This W Hotel Kuala Lumpur review is based on the pre-opening information where this luxury hotel from the Starwood Group is scheduled to open on 31 March 2017.

The W Kuala Lumpur is also being shared with the much talked about Tropicana Residencies KLCC in this 55 story skyscraper along the busy Jalan Ampang and KLCC area and on the former Bok House property.

In total, there will 150 rooms where the hotel will occupy the first 10 storeys of the building and the balance will be The Residencies KLCC. W Hotel KL will also have 12,917 sq ft of meeting space, with one ballroom and five meeting and function rooms.

A sky bar is also in the planning but this will be located on the higher floors of the skyscraper. Besides, a Salt Water Sky Pool is also one of the highlights here.

This interesting combination of hotel and residencies is also a proud collaboration between Dijaya Group and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide at a total cost of RM750 million, where the hotel will cost RM300 million.

As this is the first W Hotel in Malaysia, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will offer innovative elements of style, modern contemporary and design for all kinds of travellers making this place the talk of the hotel industry here. As it is, construction is well on its way and about 50% to 60% complete.

Below are random photos taken around the W Hotel KL from the last six months by various photographers.

Conclusion

With the W Hotel entering Malaysia and here in the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur, this will bring the number of luxury hotels in the city up and it looks like a majority of the hotels are centred around the main KLCC area too.

Once we get more information, we will do our best to update it here and hope you have a better idea of this new property with the W Hotel Kuala Lumpur review done by Malaysia Asia.
