New Logo Ministry of Tourism Malaysia

For 2016, the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia unveils a new logo which is part of an initiative to improve the image of the ministry, which was responsible for implementing the function of upholding the tourism industry and culture.

This was officially launched by the Minister of Tourism, Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, on the 11th of April 2016.

New Logo for the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia

The new Ministry of Tourism Malaysia logo features combined colours of the Jalur Gemilang, namely, blue, red, orange and yellow, also incorporate Malaysian tourism and cultural elements.

These cultural elements include the ocean, palm trees, hornbills, Sultan Abdul Samad Building and the Petronas Twin Towers.

Conclusion

The tourism minister also discussed the nine main strategies that have been outlined for drawing up sustainable, competitive and inclusive plans and activities in the Malaysia Tourism and Culture Ministry Strategic Plan 2016-2020, apart from the main event where the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia unveiled the new logo.
