This is also the the first time ever, the Hello Kitty Run - Fruity Rush comes to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as it was done previously in Singapore on 19th December 2015. For the Hello Kitty Fun Run in Malaysia, a new and exciting concept will be introduced where participants can revel in some of the city's luscious greenery, and have fun along the tropical fruit-themed checkpoints along the route, hence the theme of "Fruity Rush"

This would be the first themed run for 2016 in Malaysia and based on the Sanrio character called Hello Kitty. Many Malaysians and foreigners are huge fans of this cute pink cat where there is also a Hello Kitty Town in Johor, Malaysia which was opened in 2012. For those coming from out of Kuala Lumpur, be sure to book your hotel accommodations in advance and also check the directions to get to the Perdana Botanical Gardens in Kuala Lumpur.
