Tune Hotel opens in Pekanbaru, Sumatra

Tune Hotel opened in Pekanbaru, Sumatra on the 18th March 2013. This award-winning the international hotel chain has raised the profile of the city’s accommodation portfolio whilst bringing international standards of service excellence to the city to serve both tourists and business travellers.

The hotel will represent the global brand’s fourth property in Indonesia (following Jakarta and two locations in Bali) and the first hotel in Sumatera.

Tune Hotels currently operates 27 properties worldwide, located across Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, England, Scotland and will soon open in India and Australia.

Centrally located in Pekanbaru, the 139-room Tune Hotel Pekanbaru is walking distance to the vast Pekanbaru Mall and the main street, Jalan Sudirman. 

Just a 15-minute drive from the city’s international airport, it is also easily accessible to all main tourist attractions and business precincts. The hotel also offers meeting facilities.

With custom-made beds, power showers, high-speed wi-fi access and 24-hour security, the hotel is sure to prove popular and has a launched a the special opening rate of IDR299,000 per night – bookable through the group’s website.

Tune Hotels has recently announced its plans for 100 hotels in India, kicking off with the opening of Tune Hotel Ahmedabad next month. The company will soon take on Australia, Japan, the Middle East, and Africa.
