Catering to the fast-growing trend of world travel, the airport here was selected as the main store in Southeast Asia due to the increasing number of travelers that are coming into Malaysia or transiting here.

If you have visited the Lonely Planet store in Australia, then you’ll be pleased to see our other branches when you travel.

If you’re planning to fly into Malaysia and are staying at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, take some time to visit our local Malaysian branch. We hope you’ll feel right at home!

Trying out the live customer service application with the UK and Australia

Another unique feature that is a first of its kind here is that the Lonely Planet Store features a unique customer service application on an Apple iPad where staff can interact with other stores worldwide via video Skype to gather travel information.

This would hand for those passengers traveling to the UK or Australia where you could easily ask the stores there about the weather and so on.
