Sunset in Luang Prabang, Laos is my photo of the week. I took this sunset picture on my trip there back in 2008 with my then compact camera. It was also taken from the top of the Phou Si Hill in Luang Prabang which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is also one of the best places to visit in Indo-China as it was the last country to open up to tourism in the last five years. If you are visiting this place anytime in the future, make sure you go up the hill here in the evenings so that you can get a beautiful picture of the Sunset in Luang Prabang, Laos.

Would you mind to share the transportation available to get up to this hill? We love sunset, but we dont like hiking:)

Simon, it's an easy walk up as there are stairs up the hill to a temple here.
Beautiful! I spent some time in south east asia a while back and have been itching to get back.
This is just stunning. I love sunsets, it's a different feeling whenever you're witnessing it. And I would probably go up in the hill of Luang Prabang to get a good look of that beautiful sunset, really gorgeous.
