Sunrise at Ko Lipe, Thailand

Sunrise at Ko Lipe, Thailand is my picture of the week. I took this picture from Sunrise Beach which is the second most popular place in Koh Lipe after Pattaya Beach. Waking up at about 5.30am with not much sleep, I made my way to the beach here and parked my camera only to be surprised with the outcome of the pictures. Well, after all, I was half awake when I took the pictures.

In the foreground of the sunrise, you see local Chow Lay fishermen boats which are about to go out to sea as the main income for the locals here is only fishing. In Koh Lipe, you can find hundreds of these long tailed Thai fishing boats littered along the island. Some of them are also converted into water taxis that take you around the island and to some of the national park islands around here. Anyway, if you plan to go here, you can check out my other article on getting to Koh Lipe, Thailand. Hope you enjoyed my photograph of this beautiful Sunrise at Ko Lipe, Thailand.

I wowed at this picture. It would have been greater if the photographer shot it when the cloud was not covering the sun. Still, a great shot!
