JPO (Johor Premium Outlets)

JPO Johor

JPO, also known as the Johor Premium Outlets, is located in Malaysia in Nusajaya, Iskandar Johor, and is the first premium factory outlet in the country.

Having opened in December 2010, this is the first and proper factory outlet in Malaysia, and JPO caters to designer stores for those seeking a good bargain.

In other words, you can easily find high-street fashion brands among the many international and local brands here.

Many people come here because you can get items on sale at JPO, which are from 30% to 80% discounts, making it affordable to own designer brands.

Overall, if you have not been to the Johor Premium Outlets, you should make a trip there one day and prepare to spend at least half a day here.

My inaugural visit to JPO was in March 2012, as it was nearby the new and upcoming theme park, Legoland Malaysia.

After my site visit to the theme park, our group had some time to spare, so we quickly visited the factory outlet here. Below are various pictures that were taken at the JPO, Malaysia.

Conclusion

You can also read about my visit to Rinku Premium Outlet in Osaka, Japan, as I have a slight weakness in visiting any factory outlets wherever I travel.

The Rinku Outlets is the same layout as the JPO as both are part of the international Premium Outlet chain.

After writing this article, the Genting Premium Outlets opened in 2017 and are an exciting place to visit due to the cool weather.

And if you are a serious shopper, check out my list of Factory Outlets in Malaysia as it highlights where each of them is located around the country.

Finally, for anyone heading to Johor for work or holidays, you may want to remember that the JPO or Johor Premium Outlets are just a short drive from Johor Bahru city.
