Whitesnake Live Concert in Kuala Lumpur 2011

Malaysia Whitesnake Concert
The Whitesnake Live Concert in Kuala Lumpur 2011 will be held at the Indoor Stadium Negara at 8.30pm, Sunday, 30th October 2011. This is the rock bands first ever concert in Malaysia during their world tour that is taking them all over the globe.

For the fans, especially those who grew up in the 80s, here is your chance to let loose at one of the pioneer commercial metal bands of that era.

UPDATE on Whitesnake Concert Venue:

Whitesnake World Tour 2011 Live in Malaysia venue changed to Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil. Tickets with the previous venue name are valid for this new venue.

Who are they, some may ask, well Whitesnake is a pure English rock band, founded in 1978 by David Coverdale after his departure from his previous band, Deep Purple. The band's early material has been compared by critics to Deep Purple, but by the mid 1980s they had moved to a more commercial heavy metal style.

The band's 1987 self-titled album was their most commercially successful, and contained two of their most recognizable songs, "Here I Go Again" and "Is This Love". In 2005, Whitesnake was named the 85th greatest hard rock band of all time by VH1 and is still making music till this very day.

You can also read about the many other Concerts in Malaysia for 2011 as they list who came or is coming to perform here.

For fans traveling from other states or countries, be sure to check your accommodations before buying your tickets.

The best time to get to the stadium would be at least two hours before show starts as you do not want to be caught in bad traffic around the city.

There are numerous LRT and bus stops around the venue so please check. For the record, I grew up listening to music from this era so I may even go for the Whitesnake Live Concert in Kuala Lumpur, 2011.
