Sepang Gold Coast Picture of the Week

Sepang Gold Coast is my picture of the week. After hearing so much about this place, I finally made my way there one afternoon to attend an event hosted by Tourism Selangor and Golden Palm Tree at Sepang.

For your info, the Sepang Gold Coast or Avani Gold Coast is similar to the Palm Dubai except that this entire project is build on stilts instead of reclaimed land.

Anyway, the Sepang Beach here is a popular destination for many locals with a number of growing foreigners starting to come here and this place can be visited on a day trip.

A small portion of the beach by the Golden Palm Tree Resort is reserved for only hotel guest while the main beaches are public.

Seen on a weekend are many company trips, large groups, couples, families and even those camping on the beach here.A number of activities are also available here.

There are many facilities including stalls selling local food and drinks, public toilets and fancy restaurants at the resort.

If you have been thinking of visiting this place, you should as it is only a one and a half hour drive from Kuala Lumpur or a three hour drive from Singapore.
