Sepang Gold Coast is my picture of the week. After hearing so much about this place, I finally made my way there one afternoon to attend an event hosted by Tourism Selangor and Golden Palm Tree at Sepang. For your info, this is similar to the Palm Dubai except that this entire project is build on stilts instead of reclaimed land.
Anyway, the Sepang Beach here is a popular destination for many locals with a number of growing foreigners starting to come here. Usually it is a day trip. A small portion of the beach by the Golden Palm Tree Resort is reserved for only hotel guest while the main beaches are public. Seen on a weekend are many company trips, large groups, couples, families and even those camping on the beach here.A number of activities are also available here.
There are many facilities including stalls selling local food and drinks, public toilets and fancy restaurants at the resort. If you have been thinking of visiting this place, you should as it is only a one and a half hour drive from Kuala Lumpur or 3-4 hour drive from Singapore. For more information, visit Tourism Selangor. You can also view more pictures on my Facebook Page about Sepang Gold Coast.

I live in Selangor and yet still don't have time to visit this place.
Ahhh, you should hang out with me more :) Sepang Gold Coast is a great place for kids and anyone who wants a day break from PJ or KL.
Looks so very appealing!
Forrest - Indeed it does, especially on a good sunny day.
Looks like a very beautiful enjoyable beach!
Looks like a lovely beach. Sounds like a great place to stop between Singapore and KL.
Debbie - Yes, nearest nice beach to the city so one cannot complain :)
Sophie - You're absolutely right! Either stopping in Melaka, Port Dickson or Sepang is the choice.
Great shot David, I'd love to get into one of those small sailboats!
Thanks Mark, yeah, it looks like a single-person sail and maybe next time I visit there, I'll ask them if I could try it :)
Great place!!!! Fancy to recommend any good hotel? I m planning to go this Friday! Thanks:)
Totoro - I recommend Sepang Golden Palm Hotel but it is on the luxury side.
