Around the World with 40 Lonely Planet Bloggers

Bloggers for Lonely Planet
Around the World with 40 Lonely Planet Bloggers is a very special project done by selected travel bloggers from around the world who were hand picked for the Blogsherpa Program.

This program under the label 'Blogs We Like' was started in 2008 where individual travel bloggers were screened and selected to participate under the Lonely Planet brand.

After a tiring 12 months of working with the bloggers, Todd Wassel who headed the project, managed to put the contents of the 40 experienced travel bloggers into one massive travel book. Filled with stunning colors, fascinating places and information about the bloggers, this is what travel blogging is all about.

The book has been also featured on the main website of Lonely Planet while there is a special section under the Lonely Planet Blog called Around the World with 40 Bloggers for this.

Various travel websites around the world have also featured the launch of the book while Twitter has been abuzz with many tweeting this launch.

Malaysia Asia featured in the Lonely Planet eBook

As I was fortunate to be included into the blogsherpa program back in 2009, my contributions to the book have been about Malaysia as I live and operate out from here.

You can find my Malaysia Asia special feature which is on page 58 and 59 of the book too. As I am ecstatic about this launch, I do hope that this eBook will eventually be made into a hard copy one day.

In total, there are 88 pages of color, excitement and passion for travel. So download the ebook now. Don’t forget to visit the each author’s travel blog, and check out the other blogsherpa contributions in the ‘Blogs We Like’ section of each destination page.

This is the first time a travel book has been created from some of the most outstanding travel bloggers from around the world so don't forget to support and download this free ebook titled Around the World with 40 Lonely Planet Bloggers.

Malaysia Asia

Blogging since 2007, but writing online since 1997. I belong to the 1st generation of worldwide bloggers, which is of course old-school. Since 2008, I created Malaysia Asia and this travel, flood, gadget and lifestyle blog has won numerous physical awards from tourism boards around Malaysia. (Not those online awards). After 12 years of blogging, I have semi-retired and now blog about things I like, do product reviews and enjoy life. My work has been featured in Lonely Planet, CNN Travel, Yahoo Travel, Wall Street Journal, and many other international publications. Find out more about me and thank you.
