Koh Lipe Sunrise in Thailand Picture of the Week

Sunrise Photo Koh Lipe

Koh Lipe Sunrise in Thailand is my Picture of the Week. This beautiful island at the Taruto National Park is one of Thailand's hidden gems.

With no vehicles and basic infrastructure, Ko Lipe in Southern Thailand is one of the premier locations for Backpackers, Island Lovers, Scuba Divers and Sun Seekers.

Koh Lipe Sunrise Photo

Having been here twice in one year during the off-season and the peak season, I know this is one of the most beautiful islands on the West Coast of Thailand.

It is truly a paradise when you come here during the off-season, and at times, you can have the entire beach to yourself. With all the freedom, this is one of the best times to photograph the sunrise and sunset of Koh Lipe.

A sunrise photo that thrills photographers.

Those interested in visiting this unique place read up about How to go to Koh Lipe. The main reason is that it is not an easy place to just fly in as there are no airports here.

You must know what to expect on this island, unlike the other famous islands throughout Thailand, like Phuket or Koh Samui.

This is an off-the-beaten-path island, suitable for those wanting something unique, compared to the usual commercial islands of Koh Samui, Koh Phangan or even Phuket.

Boat schedules are limited and only available from specific areas. There are no ATM machines on the island. Everyone here moves around on foot. Update: There are now ATM machines available on Koh Lipe.

For photographers, land or underwater, there is an abundance of choices to choose from here; you just need to know when is the correct time to do so.

I also took this unique picture of Koh Lipe Beach. Overall, if you are an avid island lover, this is one of the islands you must visit and best if you can visit the beach and catch the beautiful Koh Lipe Sunrise.
