Ever since a teenager, I have heard and followed some of Kenny G's early works namely his super famous song 'Song Bird' which has been a household name here in Malaysia.
For those who do not know, his full name is actually Kenneth Bruce Gorelick and is 56 years old as of 2011.
Born in Seattle, Washington and started playing the saxophone at 10 years old, Kenny G earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for playing the longest note ever recorded on a saxophone in 1997.
Kenny G also plays the Selmer Mark VI Soprano, Alto and Tenor Saxophones. He has created his own line of saxophones called "Kenny G Saxophones".
He is also married to Lyndie Benson, with whom he has two sons, Max and Noah.
