This year's theme which is “Tropical Splendour” will also play host to 10 international floral designers from around the world. Something enthusiast would be happy to know about as they will be held in the air conditioned tents at the festival. Moreover, the entrance to this beautiful floral festival is free.

Over 100 activities have been also been organised here which include talks, gardening workshops, competitions and live entertainment.
Among the main attractions of Floria Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival 2010 are:
- The largest number of heliconias on exhibition
- A colourful array of more than 400,000 flowers in the floral and garden exhibition

- 10 (Ten) gardens and floral arrangements by international experts from Indonesia, Britain, Australia, Japan, Canada, Taiwan, Holland, New Zealand and Serbia
- Photography and water colour painting competitions
- A Floral Pavilion (Indoor Pavilion) containing 50 garden and landscape designs, together with floral arrangements such as Celebrity Musical Garden, Special Courtyard Garden, Tropical Paradise Garden and Twilight Gardes
- Exhibitions and creative garden design competitions for school and university students
If you love all things floral, you should make a visit here as it is absolutely amazing. My last visit to the Putrajaya Floral Festival 2009, I saw some really unique vendors selling what I usually collect which are hard to find jungle plants and creepers. This is also a great fun activity for children/kids where you can start to teach them about the beautiful flora. See some of the pictures of my visit on the last day to Floria Putrajaya 2010
For those who enjoy flora/ photography or taking pictures of flowers and plants, this is one place you should be checking out with your equipment as there are many lovely opportunities for you to shoot here. See you at the event!
