The Green Connection in Sabah

Sabah Black Tip Shark
The Green Connection in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. A newly opened educational research center or Eco Theme Park with a vast biodiversity from Borneo featuring over 500 native species and engaging exhibits.

I took this shot of a Black Tip Shark in one of their super large marine aquariums there. An amazing place to see and learn if you are visiting Sabah Borneo.

Update December 2017 - This place is still around and open to all visitors. In the last few years, there were funding issues which resulted in the place being poorly managed and run down. In 2016, they had some funding and did the place up.

I have not been here in years, but recently looking at some images online, I noticed that the Green Connection has revamped and done the place nicely.

However, I am unsure if the Black Tip Shark is still here, but I know the main feeding aquarium still exist and they have feeding shows for the marine life here. Read my full review of the Green Connection in Sabah.

I would now say that if you want to see some marine conservation, fresh water and sea water fish, the Green Connection is located in Kota Kinabalu and can be visited by anyone.
